Ruto approved my impeachment case – DP Gachagua
Vice President Rigathi Gachagha said President William Ruto had conducted his impeachment motion.
Speaking from his home in Karen on Monday, DP Gachagua spoke out against his boss, saying that he has changed the course of the opposition because of their bad intentions.
Gachagua said the plan could not reach the National Assembly without President Ruto’s approval, criticizing the head of government..
He refused to elaborate on the allegations and said that although he will appear in Parliament today to defend himself, he will pursue this matter deeply.

The vice president called the allegations “vicious and baseless” aimed at tarnishing his reputation and removing him from office.
According to Gachagua, Tuesday’s impeachment is the most embarrassing in the history of the House of Representatives, as lawmakers seek to remove a democratically elected leader on frauds allegations.
