In a petition filed under an emergency warrant, Gachagua lists 10 reasons he truly believes were served to engage in what he calls heinous, and uncalled for treatment upon him.
Gachagua’s chief counsel, Paul Muite, disappointed by the 282 members of the National Assembly claims that the charges are baseless allegations, hearsay and deceit.
According Gachagua, the National Council did not participate in the large public participation before its conclusion, and the members debated and voted on this proposal for selfish reasons and to deliberately hurt him.

During that time, Gachagua’s lawyers will have the opportunity to present witnesses who he thinks could help him retain his job. The attorneys of the accused have stated that they have a group of witnesses waiting to be interviewed, but they didn’t tell their names.
