The beloved Gor Mahia icon and former Harambee Stars defender Austin Oduor is dead.
Oduor passed away at his Mumias home after collapsing. He is well-known for leading Gor Mahia to victory in the Nelson Mandela Cup and for captaining the team during the valiant 1987 season.
The deceased is the brother of Mike Okoth, who played for the Harambee Stars in the 1990s and early 2000s and participated in the 2004 Afriac Cup of Natiosn Finals in Tunis, Tunisia, and the father of former Harambee Stars goalkeeper Arnold Origi.
