Govt issued a directive for a nationwide enforcement all matatus.

On Friday 15th  of November, Musalia Mudavadi, the acting interior CS gave directives to the (NPS) to initiate a comprehensive operation across the country targeting all unsafe Public Service Vehicles (PSVs) in preparation for the upcoming festive season.

The CS Musalia further pleaded with all traffic officers to do a thorough check on the conditions of all matatus.to ascertain safety while being driven.
