Liverpool defender Alisson Becker is expected to be out until mid-November due to hamstring injury.
The Brazilian was injured in Saturday’s 1-0 win at Crystal Palace and was replaced by Vitezslav Jaros after 79 minutes.
Liverpool do not expect Alisson to return before the international break from 11-19. November followed by a series of games.
Before that, the Premier League leaders will play Chelsea, Arsenal, Brighton and Aston Villa, while they play RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League and Brighton in the Carabao Cup.
Caoimhin Kelleher missed the clash at Palace through injury, but Alisson is expected to replace him in goal. Liverpool boss Arne Slott said after the game at Selhurst Park: “So it’s clear that he [Kelleher] is number two..
“Otherwise, last time Alison was injured I had to play Vit but I played Caoimhain. So Caoimhain was number two and it worked really well.”
Kelleher replaced Alisson as the 32-year-old played in the league win over Bournemouth and the League Cup win over West Ham in September.
Liverpool’s first game after the international break in November is at Southampton on November 24, before facing Real Madrid, Manchester City and Newcastle United and Everton local fans.
