Bhang and illegal liquor worth Ksh 10 million destroyed in Narok
Eleven bags of bhang, illegal liquor and other drugs worth Ksh. 10 million was destroyed in the Narok courthouse.
The drug show has been under arrest for the past three years.
Narok magistrate Hezbon Nyamberi said the drugs were banned in accordance with public health laws..
The Narok Chief Prosecutor, James Kigo, said that the criminals caught with illegal drugs, some have already served their prison terms.
He commended the security authorities for arresting the criminals and asked the people to be vigilant and report criminals. Daniel Timaio, Narok’s chief public health officer for food safety and management, said that the established procedures were followed when the supply was lost.
