Muite wants case against Gachagua’s sent to CJ Koome
Vice President Rigathi Gachagua’s lawyer, Paul Muite, wants the cases challenging the dissolution of the DP to be referred to Chief Justice Martha Koome to set up a three-judge panel to listen to them.
He argues that the cases before Justice Lawrence Mugambi raised serious questions.
He says “this is not about numbers in the National Assembly..
Muite says the concept of the constitution is very important and the court must remember that “we are talking about the sovereignty of the people who elected the president and the vice president”.
So far, the Law Society of Kenya has been working hard on this issue.
