Reward to anyone with information-serial killer Jumaisi Kalusha

Collins Jumaisi Khalusha, the serial killer behind Kware  murders, is on the run.. The authorities are in the hunt for him after admitting to killing 42 women, according to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Monday.

In an official statement, the Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) vowed to provide a substantial monetary reward of unspecified worth to any Kenyan individual who provides information leading to the arrest of the culprit.

Anyone with credible information will be awarded with a substantial cash reward

The statement disclosed that the suspect hails from Shiru Sub-location, Shaviringa Location, Hamisi Sub-county, in Vihiga County.

If you possess any information concerning the whereabouts of Collins Jumaisi Khalusha, we urge you to discreetly provide it via the anonymous #FichuaKwaDCI hotline at 0800722203 or contact the authorities through the emergency hotlines 999, 911, and 112.

He fled with 12 Eritreans from the Gigiri Police Station on August 20 and has not been seen since then. This comes two months after his daring escape.

Initial reports following the escape revealed that the 13 individuals breached a wire mesh barrier and subsequently climbed over a perimeter wall to gain their liberty. This incident occurred shortly after Jumaisi’s arrest on the morning of Tuesday, August 20th.

The station’s five police officers were apprehended after preliminary investigations revealed that they had helped in the escape. It was reported that the escapees simply walked out the main entrance.
On August 22, they were all granted a cash bond of Ksh200,000 each to enable investigations into the matter.

After his arrest in July, a search warrant served at his house led to the recovery of a variety of items that allegedly connected him to the crimes. These items included 24 SIM cards, 8 smartphones, 2 feature phones, one laptop, one hard drive, two flash drives, and one memory card. Additionally, the search revealed one machete, 12 nylon sacks, one pair of industrial rubber gloves, one pink female handbag, 2 female panties, 5 rolls of cannabis, 4 clear adhesive tapes, one nylon rope, one reflective jacket, 2 title deeds, and 2 notebooks with assorted documents.

According to reports, Jumaisi had confessed to 42 murders including his wife, which occurred between 2022 and July 2024, while he was being held in custody following the discovery of women’s bodies at the Kware dump site in Mukuru. His lawyer, however, refuted the allegations that the suspect had voluntarily provided the information, asserting that he had been subjected to torture and abuse by the officers in order to extract a confession. It is regarded as absurd that they would insinuate he had confessed.

“He alleges that he was coerced into confessing through strangulation.

” “You could perceive that he was in distress, terrified, and in anguish,” his lawyer conveyed to journalists after his alleged confession.

The suspect’s escape, amidst facing severe charges, incited a public outcry, leading some Kenyans to speculate about a potential cover-up or mishandling of the case.
