Senegal’s ruling party declares triumph i elections

According to the government spokesman Amadou Moustapha Ndieck, the people turned up in large numbers, something that led to an early victory. Proudly he expressed gratitude to the people for the win bestowed upon Pastef party. Throughout West African Nation voting proceeded with no hitches with the ruling party reporting that 90 to 95 percent of ballots had been tallied.
Barely eight months, leSenegal’s ruling party confidently declared an easy win in the legislative elections which took place on Sunday, setting the stage for the implementation of an ambitious reform plan.

President Faye won the hearts of many earlier in March when he touched on the burning issues to do with economic reforms. He promised to tackle corruption, social justice and create jobs for the youths. Therefore the hope he instilled in the people made him surpass the other two primary opposition parties, securing most of the votes and indicating an early win.

Ousman Sonko is Faye’s designated fiery mentor and prime minister., Enthusiastic Sonko did make attempts to run for the presidency but was thwarted after a three-year intense confrontation with the previous authorities.

The duo has pledged to implement a progressive pan-African plan,  committing to expanding diverse political and economic alliances, evaluating hydrocarbon and fishing agreements, and restoring Senegal’s autonomy that was compromised by foreign deals.
